Participants simply click on the link on your web site and the video clip begins playing on Real, Window Media, or Quick Time players. All these players are free. It is easy, effective, and powerful.
How it works...
First of all, something needs to be recorded. The production quality is important because the better the product going into the streaming, the better the quality of the stream. The recording can be done digitally or in an analog format, but pay close attention to the production details. Good lighting, sound, focus, etc. are all critical.
Any recorded medium can be converted into a digital format appropriate for delivering over the web. This process is called “encoding.” We can do the encoding for you, or you can purchase an encoding board that goes into your computer, for as little as $300. Once encoded you send the file electronically to HGM and we place it on a social network streaming server.
We will e-mail you the web address where the file is waiting to be streamed, or the embed code for you to embed on your Web Site.
You place a link on your web site to the file - something like "Click here to see the worship service for last week."
When people click on the link, the video or audio player appears on their computer screen and the clip begins playing. That's all there is to it!!
